“I was in shock and disbelief as I listened to the news about the earthquake and the devastation in my native homeland. I am a recording artist about to release my first single and album. I always thought as I started my recording career that I would use my voice to help the people in Haiti . I returned there in 2007 to perform at an Aids benefit concert. I am now reaching out to organizations that are willing to help the Haitian people. Although I no longer live there, my heart is there right now, and I would like to express my love and concern for these people (my fellow Haitians) by performing to raise money for the country I used to call “home”.
